The media lies and omissions...

Rabbi Hillel the Elder. Renowned in the Jewish tradition as a sage and a scholar, he is associated with the development of the Mishnah and the Talmud and, as such, one of the most important figures in Jewish history. Asked for a summary of the Jewish religion in the most concise terms, Hillel replied (reputedly while standing on one leg): "That which is hateful to you, do not do to your fellow. That is the whole Torah. The rest is the explanation; go and learn."

Another perspective on a 35+ year incident. All I would ask of anyone who watches this is that they try to imagine living in these conditions. What would be your reaction? A common part of all the major religions is compassion. Why then do people claiming to be part of a religion act with a complete lack of compassion? Why go through such great lengths to spread disinformation? Does a sense of moral superiority make injustice acceptable?
